I’m sure you have heard this same catchphrase many times before from us at UK Tights, but it must be said once more. Customer service is our number one priority. As we value our customers so much, we would like to give them the opportunity to help make our site better and to spread information about the products on offer here.

This is why our blog section is open to comments from the public, and information about the items is always welcome. One type of comment we have had a few of in the past is customer reviews. It fills me with a great sense of pride to know that my blogging has helped others by giving them hints on what products they might benefit from. For example, an earlier post on dancer’s tights caused a flood of emails when readers found that high support tights are not just useful for dancers, but can also benefit everyday physical activities such as housework.

So if you have any information on certain products you’ve purchased, whether it be from us or a department store (don’t worry, we won’t get offended!), please share them and it might help others get hold of the hosiery they need.

la_Wet-Look-Leggings-13535 2We’ve been saying it for years, the family owned businesses always provide the best quality service, and even with manufacturers there’s no exception. Leg Avenue have again put so much into their new products that you can’t deny their quality, and the concentration on sexiness and confidence has not be lost either.

Starting in 1984, in kiosks and markets in Los Angeles, Leg Avenue has become one of the largest intimate apparel manufacturers in the world, and there designs are seldom beaten. The new arrivals are some of the most sensual to date, and will sure to please anyone looking to show off their features.

The first item that we at UK Tights have taken on is the Polka Dot Leggings. This item is a clear tribute to Chanel’s pattern of choice this season, small and subtle dots that add a classic style to modern design, and coming in footless they are sure to be popular this season.

Another item that is big in the fashion world right now is the Striped Leg Warmers. Stripes are another pattern that never goes out of the public eye and with the all the great design houses and designers such as Prada, Hermès and Jean Paul Gaultier opting for classics look this autumn/winter, stripes will not go amiss.

The Lurex Ribbed Leg Warmers are also a wise option this winter, combining beauty, affordability and practicality, one can’t go wrong with this charming and fashionable addition to the legs. This item also has a column of delightful little rhinestones running up the side, making this product that little bit more bold and brazen.

The Seamless Crocheted Side Leggings are a wonderful item from the new arrivals and have the effect of lengthening the legs and adding the sultriness that Leg Avenue strive for, an excellent item that will definitely be popular this season.

These items are sexy, but the best item by far is the Wet Look Leggings with Lace Up Back. These tights are footless, and fit close to the skin, to give a fashionable and very sultry look. This item will be a definite buy for those looking to turn heads and steal glances. The material is tight fitting to really accentuate the legs, thighs and buttocks and the wet look gives an irresistible finish to the wearer’s legs. The back is also laced up, which finishes off the confident and sexy look and adds a dominant, teasing and sultry edge to your appeal that definitely has that “drive ‘em crazy” edge.

UK Tights will also be bringing out the Wet Look Leggings with Hooks and Eye Sides later this year. These with be a similar item to the Lace Ups, and are also a very appealing item for the wardrobe this season. If you need more information, the UK Tights weekly newsletter contains information on all our new major products and brands and could point out a great deal for this season.

GusWhere would a company be without its ambassador to the public, especially when the company is a family run business priding itself on customer service? Well, at UK Tights, we have decided to bring the whole family to work with us. Augustus, our pet Dalmatian is now the official UK Tights mascot and with 2 years of experience at being a fine specimen of a canine, he is sure to do us proud.

Gus comes from a long line of show dogs, with his mother being a Cruffs champion, which is why we picked him to be our pet. A perfectly trained young pup that never barks without cause, doesn’t knock small children over in excitement and always puts the seat down, we are proud to induct him into the UK Tights family as a true mascot. Of course, we all thought that he could be a fully fledged employee, if only we could train him to wear an advertising sandwich board, but the RSPCA would have none of it. Mascots are said to bring good luck, so let’s hope our little pooch really is man’s best friend.

Chopin_TightsTrasparenze are one of the greatest hosiery designers in the world, and to say they have out done themselves would be no small compliment. Well this season they have. The Italian designer has rocketed itself to a new brilliance with their autumn/winter collect, a range that is definitely going to be the pinnacle of the fashion scene.

The autumn/winter has taken an historical theme, with the great European composers, operas and statesmen being replicated in style and beauty, and with tights, hold ups, knee highs and suspender tights being released, one is never short of choice.

Included in the opaque tights are Aida, a footless item with a wonderfully opulent cuff and animal band detailing. Norma is the newest take on the back seam with its beautifully original and sensual design, also with animal print bows. Aiacie is a gorgeous patterned opaque with the most audacious colouring for a beautiful finish to your winter wardrobe. Fedora is a traditional diamond design made new, with a criss-cross pattern that cannot help but draw the eye. Rigoletto is clear tribute to Chanel this season, and if you want to leave the house looking like a Parisian model, without having to spend as much, these are perfect.

Another item with magnificent detailing is Trasparenze Meda Metalic Tights. These tights have an eye-drawing Lurex finish with vertical stripes, which is very slimming and helps make the legs look longer.

This season, Trasparenze has released a range that included not just sheers, but products that combine sheer and opaque, and in some cases opaque and net. Capriccio are one of the headline pieces this season and are extremely sensual, with a sexy back seam, a printed ribbon on the thigh and a dotted and ribbon detailed panty, with these you are sure to be the envy of the most fashionable and attractive hosiery lovers. Bach is a stunning mixture of sheer tights and mock lace-up shoes that make the leg look that extra bit more alluring. Fenice has opaque legs with sheer upper section that includes a beautiful floral design, giving the sensual effect on hold-ups. Mantegna follow suit with the hold-up effect, but include an irresistible red bow around the thigh for added feminine charm. Tosca, while not a sheer, is a blend of net and opaque, and must be mentioned, as it combines floral design with a graduated slimming net, perhaps one of the best products for leg slimming and sexiness from Trasparenze yet.

Crocheted tights are also be popular with Trasparenze this season, Chopin and Chopin footless being some of the best quality and most beautiful knitted leg wear on the market today. Both varieties are comfortable, warm and highly fashionable, and will be a wonderful addition to your winter wardrobe.

Tosca_HoldupsHold ups have always been popular, so Trasparenze has decided to use some the beautiful designs chosen for their tights this season, and provide a hold up variety as well. Tosca has been turned into a stunning lace-top hold up that has to be seen to be believed. Capriccio also come in a hold up, with the ribbon/dotted panty design not lost, but sitting around the thigh. Cleopatra comes only in hold ups, but its design is similar to Mantegna, with a mock hold up and red detailed design that’s built for the catwalk.

The Perla and Lucrezia Borgia Suspender Tights are wonderfully sensual, one being named after an Italian noblewoman known for her beauty. These are definite items for the person who wants a blend of fashion and sexiness. Knee highs include a version of Capriccio hold ups and Rigoletto tights, as well as Hopkins, a funky, multicoloured knee high, perfect for a night out.

With the huge range from Trasparenze this autumn/winter one is spoilt for choice, and the designs this season are by far the most sensual, fashionable and original designs on the market. One can’t go wrong with Trasparenze and a brand like Trasparenze can’t go wrong with providing its customers with the very best of the catwalk.
