Prada’s latest show in Milan has defined the autumn/winter season of 2009/2010. The wartime look is in this season, with clothing popular in the 40’s making a come-back. The Italian designer has chosen a mixture of berries and browns for the new season, with simplicity and modesty being the centre of the new look. This means slightly longer dresses and less one-piece skirts.
French fashion labels have also been releasing their war era designs, such as Jean Paul Gaultier’s new designs, featuring an Amelia Earhart style flying jacket and goggles at the Hermès show.
As the 1940’s is the era being recreated for autumn and winter, the hosiery world is flooded with stockings this season, especially seemed stockings and seemed hold-ups, which gives a combination of period fashion and attractiveness. The Pretty Polly Vintage Stockings and the Jonathan Aston Contrast Seem and Heel Stockings are perfect for completing this look as well being very good for showing the natural beauty of the legs. Also on the list for the vintage look is the Cervin range. This brand is all about vintage and the aesthetic quality is unbeatable.
Pretty Polly’s Love Legs are also the perfect buy for this fashion season. These products help enhance the natural beauty of the legs, and will work well with the simplicity chic of the season
