Prada’s latest show in Milan has defined the autumn/winter season of 2009/2010. The wartime look is in this season, with clothing popular in the 40’s making a come-back. The Italian designer has chosen a mixture of berries and browns for the new season, with simplicity and modesty being the centre of the new look. This means slightly longer dresses and less one-piece skirts.
French fashion labels have also been releasing their war era designs, such as Jean Paul Gaultier’s new designs, featuring an Amelia Earhart style flying jacket and goggles at the Hermès show.
