frivolity. Pop Art has always been shameless, and darn right too! Who
cares? As long as it’s not boring! Imagine the setting, classic cars in
Hot Rod red, Elvis Presley on the Jukebox, people dressing like James
Dean. This was the best of decades. It might have been loud and
dazzling, but it had glamour and it was exciting! One artist summed it
up perfectly. Kevyn Aucoin said "I think the responsibility lies with
the fashion world as a collective. We have to demand more variety." He
