UK Tights at Salon International de la Lingerie 2015

UK Tights has just returned from Paris. We’re fascinated by the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel tower, the exquisite macaroons and the glamour of the City of The Light: Dior, Chanel, Versace, Givenchy… all the most luxury brands! Shopping wasn’t our main purpose, thought. UK Tights paid a visit to Paris to catch up on the latest trends in hosiery for AW15/16 at Salon International de la Lingerie.

Conferences, exhibitions, Fashion Shows… time flies at Paris Expo – Porte de Versailles. We visited the stands of some of our hosiery brands: Fogal, Falke, Girardi, Gerbe, Max Mara, Pretty Polly, Spanx, etc. Luckily, we had time to share a glass of Cava and meet the new hosiery collections of Cecilia de Rafael with their lovely girls.

One of the greatest surprises was Golden Lady’s stand. The Italian hosiery brand had organised their own catwalk to present their collection. The protagonist was Golden Lady’s bestseller product: The Golden Lady My Beauty Seamless Opaque Tights by Miley Cyrus.

980’s & 90’s merge together for AW1516, with lace, texture contrasts and minimal designs to catch everyone’s eyes

AW15: The encounter of the ’80s and the ’90s

The AW1015/16 trends in lingerie and hosiery bring together the 80’s and the 90’s. Glam minimal designs adorned with straps everywhere, tiny lace details and belts to draw the silhouette. For men, comfortable fabrics and designs. However, we also notice a growing trend: Shapewear for all! Shapewear isn’t exclusive for women any more. We’ll tell you more about men’s shapewear in a few days.
