This design might be the first of its kind in our collection. Calais is a lace item but is made mostly from wool instead of synthetic fibres. This is unique, as wool is a superb material, but more difficult to work with. The delicate pattern and complex motifs are a testament to Max Mara's talents as a designer. With the nylon and elastane that is also present, the design is durable and easier to maintain, and with the amazing Italian wool, it is soft, luxurious, warm in the winter and breathable in the summer. A superb and original design from Max Mara.
