Kioto is named after the historic capital of Japan, but it is not just a randomly chosen name. The design itself bears remarkable resemblance to some of the architecture and art of the ancient city. This leg wear design resembles the crossed wood beams of the ancient Shinto temples, the geometric patterns of feudal clan symbols and the iconic lattice work of a sliding screen doors. It is a modern pattern but one that is steeped in history and heritage, like so much of Trasparenze's range.
