A lot of Jonathan Aston's fashion tights designs are inspied by Scottish traditions this year, and Bonny is as clear an homage as you can get. A wireframe style tartan and a name so beloved by the Scots really does give it away. One other thing Jonathan Aston is fond of this season is taking an old favourite and giving it new life, and that's where the wireframe comes in. At a glance, you can see it's tartan, although it has no real right to call itself that. But it is in there somewhere and it gives your outfit a classic look without you having to worry about the clashes of colours and the occasions when it's not ideal to have bright scarlet leg wear. Instead, it is minimal, futuristic and versatile, and we think it is one of the most beautiful items of the year.
