How do I find my size?

On each product page you will see a tab called SIZE above the product description. If you click on this tab it will give you a size chart for that brand.

Can I try on any items?

You can try on lingerie and swimwear, but we ask you use any hygiene strips provided or wear your own underwear underneath for hygiene purposes. You cannot try on hosiery such as tights, footless tights, hold ups, stockings, knee highs, and socks as they are intimate apparel. Please use the size guide found on each page before you buy any hosiery.

Can I see items in my local currency?

In the top right corner of our website, you can pick a dropdown menu and chose between Pound Sterling (GBP), Euro (EUR), Australian Dollars (AUD), Canadian Dollars (CAD), or US Dollars (USD). This will be reflected on your bank statement.

Do you charge me for items that are out of stock?

When you place your order, we will tell you on the product page whether your items are in stock. If you choose any items that are not in stock, we will still charge you for the whole value of the order. We do this so that we do not have to store your credit or debit card details. As the card is not saved, we cannot charge you again. This makes our site more secure. It also reserves the stock for your order, so it won’t be sent to anyone else in the meantime.

Will you notify me when my order comes in?

After 4 weeks we will notify you with an automatic email to keep you updated. You are entitled to cancel reserved items at any time by phone or email.

How does an order appear on my statement?

All transactions will appear on your bank statement as Web Shop Direct Ltd.

How are items packaged?

All orders are sent in completely plain plastic bags or boxes. No logos or company names are present.

Is my order shipped the same day?

All goods are shipped by Royal Mail Tracked Post. Orders placed before 4.00pm GMT will be dispatched the same day, so long as items are in stock.

How much does delivery cost?

As prices regularly change, please use the delivery selector in the basket.

How can I tell the colour of a product?

Colours swatches displayed on the website are only close aproximations to the colour of the item. Individual computor monitors will have their colour settings at different levels and therefore may display colours slightly differently to others. Each item has a clear viewing window on either the front or back of the packet. This allows you to check the colour of the product before opening the packet.

What happens if I miss a parcel?

Your parcel will be kept by Royal Mail at your local sorting office and you can go and pick it up with a form of photo ID the next day. After several days, which is determined by each sorting office branch individually, it shall be returned to us. Should your parcel be returned to us by Royal Mail and they state that you did not collect the package from the sorting office, you can contact us to have it reshipped.

What do I need to know about customs and VAT?

Non-UK parcels may be subject to import duties and taxes, levied once a parcel reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be paid by you. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. In order to reduce your import charges, we ship all non-UK parcels in a single box. We will hold your order until your order is complete and all items are available for shipment.

What do I need to know about distance selling?

UK Tights complies with Consumer Contracts 2013 and Online Trading Laws along with Electronic Commerce Directive Regulations. If you believe your parcel is either lost in transit or damaged you have 21 days after dispatch to notify customer service. We are unable to refund historic order as no investigation can take place.

How do a cancel an order?

To cancel orders please email us as soon as possible. Alternatively telephone us on UK:01625 460180. Outside UK: +441625 460180. If your order has already been dispatched, simply return it as outlined in our returns policy. You have 14 days to cancel your order from the date you placed it. If it has been dispatched, then you have the responsibility to return the goods correctly. A full refund will be given including postage and return costs. If you are outside of the UK, you must contact customer service initially to discuss your return.

Do we use cookies?

We use Cookies to see if you are logged in and link you to the products in your shopping basket as you move around the site. No personal details are put in our Cookie. A Cookie is a small text file that is sent to your computer via your web browser when you visit some websites. These Cookies are used to store information about you for the next time you visit that site information like where you went on the site and what you did.

How do I return a parcel?

If you are not happy with your order, you have 30 days to return items, for a refund, exchange, or credit note. Faulty items that you have opened and worn can be returned. If your items develop a fault upon first wear they may be returnable, even after the 30 day period. This is at the discretion of our returns department. Please follow all care instructions as this affects eligibility. If you are in the UK, please click this link and fill out the form to print out your return label. Pack your items and place your label on the box. Include this page with instructions, such as whether you would like a refund or exchange. Take your parcel to a Post Office. You must keep your proof of postage as missing parcels may not be eligible for a refund. Non-UK customers must contact us for instruction on how to return items, or you may not be eligible for a refund of your postage costs. Your parcel may take up to 10 working days to arrive, and you will receive an email once it does. Refunds can take 14 days to complete.
