TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Your Data And Cookies

Your card data is not kept on record by us. We need to use your name and address to deliver your order and take payment. Your email address will be used to send an order confirmation and dispatch confirmation email. We may also contact you if there is a problem with your order. See our full Privacy Policy here for further information on how we use and store your data and how we use cookies.

Payment Information

When you place an order with UK Tights, we will tell you on the product page whether your items are in stock. If you choose any items that are not in stock, we will still charge you for the whole value of the order. We charge you at the checkout once, so that we do not have to store your card details to charge you in the future. This means our site is significantly more secure. Charging you once also reserves items that are out of stock. This means they will never be sent to someone else before you receive the item. You are entitled to cancel reserved items at any time. The transaction will appear on your bank statement as Web Shop Direct Ltd.

Customs, VAT, And Import Duties

Please note, if you are sending an order to locations outside of the UK, you may be subject to import duties and taxes. These are imposed by your national government and are your responsibility to pay. You will be notified by the courier that delivers your goods if this is the case, and charges are levied once a parcel reaches your country. Taxes and additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. Taxes cannot be waived by Webshop Direct. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict the total amount. Please check your country’s own import tax rates. Any consignments that you refuse may incur a £20 fee upon being returned to us from abroad. This is to cover the expense of returns, as it is very costly for Webshop Direct to ship parcels and re-import them. This will be deducted from your refund. VAT of 20% is included on items at the checkout.

Online And Distance Selling

UK Tights complies with Consumer Contracts 2013 and Online Trading Laws along with Electronic Commerce Directive Regulations. This supersedes the Distance Selling Regulations previously in effect. If you believe your parcel is either lost in transit or damaged, you have 21 days after dispatch to notify customer service. We are unable to refund historic orders as no investigation can take place.

Cancelling Your Order

To cancel orders, please contact us as soon as possible, using our contact page. If you place your order during business hours, it may be best to call us, as your order will be in the process of being sent, and we cannot alter orders after the moment of dispatch.

Refunds and Returns

Please see our returns page for information on how to return your items. Please read the policy carefully, as incorrectly returned items may not be eligible for a refund.
