Normally quite boring, support tights are all about compression etc. These have graduated compression being light nude look control at the tummy, 5/6mmHg light compression at the thigh, 6/8mmHg medium compression at the knee and upper calf and moving onto 10/12mmHg strong compression at the ankle where blood tends to pool. These are beautiful looking, quality tights, and who would have thought they were support tights! But they are rather short, otherwise I would have rated them higher. I'm five foot nine and a long legged size 14, so hardly huge, and I bought Extra large, still too short. I most often buy Trasparenze, and they are always long enough.
