My first impression is that the band at the top feels a little on the tight side but probably means they won't fall down easily. Also, they don't look glossy at all, despite being called "Ultra Gloss". Even turning on a light and pointing my leg towards it, I didn't see much of a sheen, just an ever so slight one. I would guess the nude colours may show off the shine more as this is usually the case.
