Powell is one of Trasparenze’s more reserved designs this season, but give it a moment to sink in and you will find one of the most stunning and delightful items of legwear this year. The mock suspender effect is one of the most original out there, without the usual ornate strap, but with plenty of detail around the broach. The foot features a very original stirrup effect that we’ve never seen on a pair of hold ups before. And the button motifs down the side give it an old world feel, looking like the old turn of the century spats that so many ladies wore. This is a design that brings the tone and feel of the past forward to the present day.
