Plaid is a timeless choice and one we absolutely love, no matter how many times it appears in our collections. But it must be said that it is nice to see when a pattern is given new life too, rather than just the classic version. By inverting many of the colours, and putting emphasis on the intersections and the background patterns, onathan Aston have turned the pattern on its head. Like viewing the negative of a photograph, this traditional pattern looks so much different, with the familiar still in there, but with a new concentration of the diamonds and the criss cross that sits just behind the scenes.
