Ariel is continuing a new and beautiful trend in Pierre Mantoux's
collection of designs that we are really excited about. The trend is the
humble but always loved floral, re imagined or somehow recast in a new and innovative way. The Ariel Socks, for example, use bands of florals and a distinct black on a sheer background that creates a kind of black henna effect. Ordinarily, floral legwear is a tapestry of detailed flowers, but Pierre Mantoux have never been interested in the ordinary. Here, they have created a kind of banded effect that looks like the ornamentation on a Renaissance pillar or in a piece of Italian interior design.
