Aubade's new range is more than just Byzantine in name. It takes inspiration from the old Byzantine Empire, a place that stretched from Iraq to Spain and Egypt to Greece. The exotic look, the scalloped lace, the fan motif in the centre of the design are all inspired by the exuberant art and decor of the Near East. As for the term Ivresse, this is the French word for intoxication, a very fitting name for this design. Everything Aubade do is able to intoxicate and entrance its viewers, and this is no exception.
