Trimming is true to its namesake. It's a design that's had portions of of the pattern taken out, enhancing the rest of the design. A simple dotted leg wouldn't have been anywhere near as interesting without what's missing. A blank thigh, an unadorned brief and a hollow loop just above the knee. The former two leave room for the design itself, proving that less really is more. The latter, the loop in the center of the tights, creates a visual centerpiece that's impossible to ignore. Trimming is not lessened for its reserved design, it's infinitely enhanced.
